Application Requirements:

  • Applicant may be of any age

  • Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business or a business-related program

  • Applicant must demonstrate outstanding potential to overcome gender barriers as they work towards achieving their degree

  • Zonta Club of Dallas will award (1) recipient in the amount of $1,000. Eligible recipients of the Zonta Club of Dallas award will be forwarded for consideration for the Zonta District 10 award. 

  • Zonta District 10  awards its recipient $1000. 

  •  Zonta International offers up to 37 international scholarships of US$5,000 each.

  • Applicants for the 2024 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship may NOT also apply for the 2024 Women in STEM Scholarship.

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship program helps women pursue undergraduate and master’s degrees in business management and overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom. Women of any age, pursuing a business or business-related program, who demonstrate outstanding potential are invited to apply for this scholarship. The program operates at the Zonta club, district/region and international levels. Zonta Club of Dallas provides a $1,000 award.  Eligible recipients of the Zonta Club of Dallas award will be forwarded for consideration for the Zonta District 10 award which also awards its recipient $1000.  Each district/region will nominate a district/region applicant to submit to Zonta International which reviews all district applications and awards 37 international awards of US$5,000 each.   The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded annually and may be used for tuition, books or living expenses at any university, college or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees.

The deadline to submit this scholarship application to the Zonta Club of Dallas is in June each year.
