Annual Amelia Earhart Luncheon
The Luncheon will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Arlington Hall at Lee Park in Dallas. Doors will open at 11:00.
The purpose of the Amelia Earhart luncheon is to encourage young women and girls who are still deciding on their career paths, to explore their potential in scientific and mathematical fields – science, aviation, aerospace, engineering, medicine, etc..
Our theme this year is "Women in Flight". Our keynote speaker is Tina Prabha Srivastava, a native Dallasite. Tina works as an Aerospace Systems Engineer at Raytheon Company in Dallas, TX and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Click Here to view her bio..
